The postholder will be expected to undertake collections-based research in an area of natural history, and preference may be given to candidates with research interests in the fields of palaeobiology, entomology and/or crustacean biology.
Applicants must have a PhD at the time they apply and research specialisation in geology and/or animal biology. Successful candidates will have an excellent research and publication record for their career stage, and an ambitious, viable research plan.
It is hoped that a non-stipendiary association at a college will supplement each of these research fellowships, and the posts will each be supported by a research allowance of £15,000 over the three years
Only applications received before midday on 25 January 2013 can be considered. You will be required to upload a full CV and a research proposal as part of your online application
